The Teaching Trust Leadership Teams Program prepares principals and their teams to realize their vision of an aspirational school culture and create a robust plan for campus improvement. 


THE LEADERSHIP TEAMS JOURNEY

At Teaching Trust, we believe that all children can learn, and we know that you do, too. The overall goal of the Leadership Teams program is to increase and sustain student achievement. We believe the only way to ensure schools are making significant gains and sustaining academic growth is by building capacity within the school's leadership team. Focusing on the highest leverage actions, principals and team members will learn to lead with trust and influence in order to achieve results for kids. The program increases the technical competence of each school team while simultaneously increasing the team's effectiveness.

YEAR 1

Participate in a week-long Summer Intensive to kick off the program

Attend monthly sessions and complete required deliverables focusing on four priorities: instruction, culture, data practices, & team effectiveness

Receive and learn through on-campus coaching visits from a Teaching Trust coach

Collaborate as a team to build a robust Campus Plan for Change rooted in the needs of your school

YEAR 2*

Continue to drive academic improvement on your campus

Receive ongoing, targeted support from a Teaching Trust coach as you and your team implement the Campus Plan for Change that you developed in Year 1

 

*Note: Teams are invited to participate in Leadership Teams Year 2 based on their standing at the end of Year 1


CONTINUING YOUR IMPACT

Your journey as a Teaching Trust leader is not over at the end of the Leadership Teams program. Cohort members and graduates of Teaching Trust programs have access to high-quality, applicable leadership development and training from our Teaching Trust Alumni Network. 

Continue to connect, collaborate, and innovate with peers and colleagues through the Alumni Network. Your journey towards improving outcomes for North Texas students is just beginning.
