The Teaching Trust Ed Fellows Program prepares educators to deepen their instructional competence and expand their scope of influence on their campuses.

THE ED FELLOWS JOURNEY

We know that educators have unique goals and aspirations for their personal leadership trajectories. With this in mind, we've designed our Ed Fellows Program to offer two tracks to help educators reach their greatest impact and expand their scope of influence, either in the classroom or across the broader school campus. While both tracks are grounded in our core competency framework and centered on boosting student achievement, Ed Fellows can choose which track will help them meet their personal leadership development goals.

THE INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP COHORT

Participants will spend a year building their instructional leadership and content expertise. Cohort members will receive targeted training on expert teacher moves, such as setting a vision for student success, responding in the moment to student data, building a strong classroom culture, and re-teaching objectives that students have not yet mastered. The program culminates in the completion of an ambitious Classroom Action Project, where Ed Fellows will collaborate across campuses, grade-levels, and content areas in an effort to create a proof point in their own classroom of what is possible for students in DFW.

THE ADULT LEADERSHIP COHORT

Participants will spend a year building their ability to lead, influence, and motivate adults on their school campuses. Cohort members will receive targeted training on conducting in-depth data analysis, strategic data-response planning, holding others accountable and leading high-quality professional development. The program culminates in the completion of an ambitious Campus Action Project, where Ed Fellows will focus on improving academic outcomes for students across a grade or content area.
